#48019 Silver Snowy Pinecone Christmas Ornament

Growing on majestic firs and pine trees, cones are natural decorations. They were among the very first molded glass ornaments made. Cones were believed to be symbols of motherhood and fertility, so they were given to brides to hang on their Christmas trees.

This silver and white pinecone ornament is approximately 2 1/2" in ht and 2" in width. The cap is silver colored and it has the trademark heart-shaped metal tag with OWC.

This traditional and beautiful glass ornament was carefully mouth-blown into a finely crafted mold. Then a hot solution of liquid silver was poured inside. Finally, it was delicately hand-painted and glittered for you to enjoy and cherish as a holiday heirloom!
